Trauma weight

 Trauma has several components to it-Emotional, mental, sexual and spiritual weight which in turn affects physical weight.

It is important to work on all in order to heal deeper.
You can keep working on your physical body, doing workouts, going on diets, etc but if you ignore the other things your nervous system is in a constant panic, stress and struggle energy because of the conflict.
Here is one example:
If your body feels unsafe to be thin because religion taught you it was unsafe to be attractive and or sex was bad, you will hold onto weight around your sexual organs, mentally be terrified being looked at EVEN by your spouse, emotionally feel disgust and the need to hide, and spiritually feel shame (which is heavy) if you enjoy being looked at and enjoy sex.
Just think about that and where you are putting your efforts when you are trying to lose weight because while you are trying to get to your goal, your body is screaming it feels unsafe so it wont be sustainable or will repel the opposite way causing more frustration.
Are you just trying to lose weight, or are you trying to heal which in turn will release the weight?
Only you can choose, but I for one know which one leads to freedom when the other only led me to misery, deeper hating myself and my body and confusion for both me and my body.
