I realized in my healing that in trying to remain relatable, I was then unrelatable in another way.
In trying to relate to one person, someone else then didn't relate to me.
This caused such an internal struggle in my need to be liked and it was EXHAUSTING!
I realized though, which might sound simple, but can be hard at times because of wanting to fit in and past trauma and people pleasing, I can't possibly relate to everyone and I decided that was okay and in fact needed to be okay for my own health.
I won't relate to you on one thing but maybe on another you find comfort that you can relate and that is okay.
Maybe you only relate to me 10% on things where another person relates to me 95% and that is okay.
We dont have to relate to everyone and we dont have to be relatable to everyone.
Release the need to be relatable and any judgement or shame you are throwing at others if you dont relate to them.
We are all safe to be our own unique self and deserve respect
AND......
Your body will thank you as it no longer holds onto disgust towards yourself or others which was only hurting YOU.
